This is a group for anyone who wants to play board games. If you enjoy the competition, the escapism or simply the social interaction of playing games then this group is for you! The emphasis will be very much on meeting people, enjoyment but most of all the tea and biscuits!
Certain games can be provided, or you are free to bring in your own favourite game and introduce it to other group members.
Word games we can provide are Scrabble, Upwords, Bananagrams and Boggle.
Also, there are strategy games such as Chess, Backgammon, Chinese Checkers, Othello, the Viking Game and Mastermind.
