Our General Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at the Stanhope Hall, Boston Road, Horncastle, LN9 6NF. They start at 10 am and normally finish before noon.
The normal format of these meetings is a brief introduction from our chairman, highlighting anything new and changes to group meetings, followed by an interesting talk from a guest speaker and finally breaking for complementary coffee or tea with biscuits. The speakers and their subjects for the next few months are listed in the Speakers category.

Our growing group has completed the 2025 season and will welcome more people who would like to join us. Our monthly meetings welcome a wide range of speakers/ presentations on a range of topics..
Starting off 6th January with Sir Jonathan Van Tam, speaking on his life, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is followed 3rd February by Liz McIntosh talking about Building Community Choirs.
On 3rd March. Jon Thorne will talk of his work on the South Ormsby estate - The adventure.
7th April. Rosanna McGlone Will talk about Feisty females' of medieval Lincolnshire.
5th May. Evie Kimsen will give a talk on Communities, and Voluntary Service.
2nd June. Jane Berni on Ageing and thriving in Horncastle
7th July. Jan Wright will give a fascinating talk on "Mary's Meals".
4th August. Speaking in Public
1st September. Chris Jones will give a talk on his long distance walking to raise funds for charities.
6th October. We will be hosting a talk from Joanne Lyon on hearing impairment.
3rd November. Our talk will be advised.
Our December meeting will again be a Xmas party
