Horncastle u3a membership allows people to attend the monthly meetings, groups, trips, other events and may include copies of the excellent newsletter. At just £15 a year it represents great value for money. Non-members are not entitled to attend these events and will not be covered by u3a insurance for such events.
How to become a member of Horncastle u3a
Before joining our u3a you are able to come to the monthly meeting on two occasions (1st Tuesday of Month).
Membership Application Forms are available at the monthly meetings or please download and complete the Membership Application form at bottom of the page. This form can be brought to any monthly meeting or posted (details on form). Once your completed form and payment has been received you will be entitled to join any of our many groups. To do this you will need to contact the relevant group leader (contact details on the individual group web page).
The subscription for April 2026 - March 2027 will be £15. Payment may be made either via BACS, cheque or cash.
BACS details are Horncastle u3a : Sort Code 30-94-39 : Account Number 00715377. Please add your name as reference.
As a member you will be entitled to attend the monthly meeting, vote in the AGM, join any groups or clubs of not only Horncastle u3a but also neighbouring u3a groups where there are vacancies and their rules permit.
Our general monthly meeting, on the first Tuesday of each month, is held at the Stanhope Hall, Boston Road, Horncastle, LN9 6NF at 10 am. Attendance is free, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
At the door you will be welcomed by one of our receptionists, who will advise and guide you. We ask you to sign in and out at every meeting to comply with fire regulations.
Becoming a member of Horncastle u3a is a fabulous way of meeting new people and of broadening your knowledge with interesting and sociable company.
